"For its ongoing public trial, Digital is giving consumers $10 in sample electronic tokens to spend at any of 24 merchants, most of which are selling magazine articles and other information. So far, Digital has distributed more than $70,000 in sample funds."
Just in passing interest, I wonder how much of that free e-money has been redeemed? And moreover, how much over the $10 was spent by the consumer?
" By contrast, ICVerify has 250,000 merchant customers, including 5,000 already doing sales online. "
Okay, and we know ICV. sales to be in between 10mm-15mm. How much of that comes from internet purchases of the 5K online? And what sort of increace of revs. can we expect as the remaining 245,000 begin to use online services?
I would like to know how many of those remaining 245,000 even plan on moving to some online business. I assume most of those 250K are store merchants, but of what? Retail (ie clothing, jewelry, appliances, et al), or more like the conveince stores we get our milk, bread and butts -you know how the Europeans love their tobacco.
