AJ,
There are many technologies including electron beam systems, radiation systems, MicroWave Technologies, etc. Many of which you would not understand even if I or anyone else were to list them and try to explain them to you. All have a niche they have attempted to fill within the food and processing industry. Some of them are quite efficient and are more easily intergrated into the preprocess systems, others have application in spoilage control and post process treatment, others are applied to packaging systems, and still others have application to the water treatment and sanitation. Frankly, I am impressed with how versatile the OZON guys have been in looking from every angle possible for application of their technology. Ultimately, if one system is economically more viable than another it will usually win out in the long run. In some cases, however, because of public scrutiny and lack of acceptance, it doesn't matter what the savings are some systems will never be totally utilized to the extent possible. In my opinion, OZON will not be limited in that way. |
