This is my first use of the SI response mode and I am promising myself
to try to avoid: an air of proprietorship, intemperate responses and vulgarity. I can find these anywhere.I've come here to learn and share.
I read your note with interest. I began buying APCC in June of 1994
@15.75 with the thought that its market dominance and success to date would make it a great long. I followed it into the twenties that year and continued making periodic 100 share purchases. I ignored both Cabot and Value Line and continued to buy until Febrary '96. In July '96 I decided to take a tax loss and get back in just as soon as I could. I sold @ 9.25
What did I learn? It was almost as hard to buy back APCC at a reasonable price as to sell what was called CTN some months later.
If you have bought into a stock for good reason and for the long term
stick with it unless the story changes. And I'm never really as smart as
I think I am.
Nice to be aboard.
