All it really needs is for the caps to be removed and means testing.
In a Ponzi scheme people voluntarily put in their money with the expectations of an above average return. Social security is a tax imposed on anyone who works and their employer.
No way is social security a Ponzi scheme one is voluntary the other is a mandatory.
