Embrace what? CEOs ACTIONS speak louder than words i.e. capex, hiring, etc. Look at their actions, even if I mentioned Larry E. Even insider selling as brokered by the very same outfits that come out with price 'targets' and recommendations on those very stocks. for e.g. Qwest insiders conducted their last (major) 'diversification' sales in May 2001. (Coincidence? I think not) Talk is cheap from folks who could not predict the downturn, tag-along journalists, and 'economists' who look to the stock market as a guide for their profession imo. Yep, everything is lagging, if one looks at it that way. Everything except price, which is current and supposedly a predictor for the future. No matter how 'leading' they may say some indicators are.
