Hi Patricia,

I had fun watching portions of the LA Times Book Fair on BookTV on Saturday.

One of the featured guests was Chalmers Johnson discussing "The Sorrows of Empire" along with other topics. He called George Bush's invocation of listening to a "higher power" than his own Father to be illegal. A violation of the Constitution requirement of a separation of Church and State.

And then he went on to endorse to views of NY Times' Chris Hedges describing the monsters in the White House as "Christian Fascists".

You might enjoy this biographical essay on Aaron McGruder, the creator of "Boondocks". I really admire this talented and honest man:

McGruder calls Sleazza Rice a "murderer" to her face. And she just blows it off. Amazing.
