Impugning the source of contrary arguments is exactly what you have been doing. You dismiss the Cato Institute arguments, because they are libertarian, you dismissed another argument because the source is connected with industry. Apparently your sources are as pure as ivory soap, but contrary sources are all suspect and are summarily dismissed. I'm not mischaracterizing how you have been debating, as anyone who has been following your posts can see.

>>While SIDS is complicated, it is a respiratory illness. Air is what we breathe. Are you arguing that air pollution is not harmful, or what?

A case of "false alternative", another logical fallacy. If I think the supposed link between outdoor air pollution and SIDS is statistical noise, then I am "arguing that air pollution is not harmful." Air pollution can be harmful and have absolutely nothing to do with SIDS. If outdoor air pollution is a cause of SIDS then we should find a high level of SIDS in Pittsburgh 30 years ago. Let's see those numbers.

>>Throwing in NFC winners in the Superbowl and bull markets is more obfuscation.

Obfuscation? It's an example of statistical noise, a meaningless statistical correlation. Now let's hear your theory on how outdoor air pollution is causing SIDS.
