Excellent POV!
German Media Bias
The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler
Davids Medienkritik slams the German press over their treatment of the Downing Street Memo and the complete lack of balance in the German media, and rightly so.
Europeans constantly say Americans should consider their opinions. Yet the only American opinions Europeans generally hear bash US policy and the President, and as far as they know those are the only arguments out there. They should ask themselves if that makes any sense, and whether it's more likely that they're completely missing the other arguments. This is especially true considering that Congress and the President got re-elected, and that any reasonably intelligent person would assume there were arguments in favor of that re-election, and that the majority of the population found those arguments to be valid. That would be preferable to honestly believing a caricature of the right's position, something about endless greed, power, big business, and corruption, and blood-sucking mosquitos.
In contrast, the right is daily bathed in every argument, opinion, thought, and tired sigh from the left. Without moving into a cave, the left's arguments and opinions are unavoidable, yet they still don't win, probably because we on the right can complete their sentences for them just by rote repetition.
