Lee I agree with SF. I have been running Qcharts on three different systems, and several different releases, almost from the time it came out, and have NEVER found it to cause any problems with my systems. I have found that various pieces of software, especially shareware, caused a lot of problems. I no longer use shareware on my systems. The biggest problems I have had have been from not keeping my Windows software updated via the MS website, and especially from me messing around with Windows myself, and allowing others to do so. The worst disaster I ever had was from one of the computer "experts" at work coming over to help me with some problems I was having. He changed various parameters in Windows to make it "run better". Well it did for a couple of days, and then became very unstable. Ended up having to reload Windows from scratch to correct the problem. He didn't know what he changed and neither did I.
I'm sorry you have been having problems, I know how frustrating they can be, but there are over 1000 users of Qcharts, and if it was causing problems, it would have been reported long before now. Keep Windows updated, stay away from shareware and "mickey mouse" programs even if you buy them from a computer store, and don't let folks screw around with your Windows operating system and you'll find your system will stay a lot more stable.
