><>...Hi Grant, how have you been?...><>
In answer to you most thoughtful question.
Set your priorities out according to what is logical and most progressive. You will know what they are, as planned by God, when you realize the gifts that God has bestowed upon you,and attempt to apply them to your life in light of God's will . These gifts, and talents, when they are applied to God's glory, will lead you in the direction that God has planned for you.
As to your choice of church that seems to me to be an easy one. We are to choose a church that teaches the word of God chapter by chapter and verse by verse. All churches should teach it's members how to understand, and prove for themselves, what God's word is really saying Church members should be well equipped (by the pastor) to find for himself the truth within the pages of God's most holy word! He should be able to think for himself, and his pastor ought to encourage it.
There are also some obvious things to look for in a congregation as well as some things to avoid. I trust, that as a Christian, you are well aware of them all. If not you will know them when you see them.
This is God's will for all HIis servants.
Have to go for now, hope this was helpful.
Good to hear from tou again.
Sincerely, Shalom...><>
1Thes 5:14-28 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us. 26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
The will of God Grant, will never lead you, where the grace of God cannot keep you. |
