Do you know how the source vendors for components are qualified and what Batch testing is done to mantain the performance.

Doug, each component has a spec that an engineer closely examines before selecting for inclusion in any product. For semiconductors, these would include

(c), if by this you mean operating temperature range,
(d), some applicable parts, like line drivers
(e), some parts
(f), well, I guess some semis are "rad hardened" for deep space and military applications, but none I deal with.

(a), (b), and (h) would all be end product specs, not semi componet specs.
