Social Insurance. It's interesting that they worded it that way. Back then, that's what it is. But then the Democrats have morphed it into Socialist Welfare. Back then it was insurance in construct, but it didn't have the indexes for lifespan and inflation that would have kept it sustainable. Now, it's just become another Ponzi-like UBI program.
