You and those of your ideological ilk disappoint me. You are obviously intelligent and well-written, yet your arguments lack any coherent, logical thought.

Including those believed to have died a) in Iraq as a result of UN sanctions and b) in Sudan due to lack of pharmaceuticals is fallacious.

An analogy would be to state that lawsuits against GM regarding "side-saddle" gas tanks are responsible for global warming, because GM was forced to take money out of it's R&D budget (which is focusing on hybrid engines) to pay settlement costs.

You cannot see through your world view into reality, and it affects your ability to persuade others dramatically.
