Charles,

FWIW, the dollar has been falling against the Mark & Yen & causing
an equivalent uptick in interest rates. This has just happened
as a result of the G-7 getting together & trying to shore up the
global economy. As soon as investors get the idea that positive
steps are being taken, and that the problem is NOT insurmountable,
they'll jump back in. Japan has just promised to pump $500billion
into its banking system & the IMF is revising its lending rules
while hedge funds are getting spanked & lending & leveraged
investing (speculating) practices in foreign countries are coming
under increased scrutiny. I don't think this is rocket science,
it's political/economic & the US has to take a strong management
role to insure compliance with our audit standards.

To me, this is really good news for Sun going forward. If the
numbers look good (=meet or beat) on Thurs. they should push the
envelope. It may be a little premature to be predicting a near-
term boom in Asia but I don't think greasing the skids a little
is out of the question. As soon as they can make the purchases,
Asia is going to be buying enterprise servers big time & they're
going to be buying them from Sun. Investors should be apprised
of this inevitability so they can take advantage of a stock that
is really underpriced, while they can. Don't you think so??

cheers,
