I used to have a very good idea of how many soldiers we had in each country but I haven't kept up with all the changes. This DOD link has the latest released deployment info. It is presently current as of Dec 31, 2004. It does get updated occasionally. Iraq and Afghan are listed as "0". Those numbers are in a separate chart at the end of the document. web1.whs.osd.mil
