Shorting at many direct entry brokers is no better than at Datek, and actually worse. Unfortunately, there are many online brokers who at this point have more stocks available for shorting than Datek. Datek used to be the undisputed champ of short availability. Oh well. On the other hand - I find Datek order execution and confirmations blazingly fast. Love it. DA SPEED BURST IS HERE BABY! Hope it stays that way! I'm rewarding Datek by trading like mad - making $ for myself AND my broker... this is the way it should be!
