Volcker is in trouble. Former U.S. Federal Reserve chief Paul Volcker, saying lives were ``at risk,' asked Congress to withdraw subpoenas for documents and the testimony of Robert Parton, who resigned from Volcker's investigation of graft in the United Nations-administered oil-for-food program in Iraq. Whew!!! You ain't kidding. His credibility was likely killed by that comment. The ball is now in V's court and he is on defense, 20 points down and 10 seconds to play.
