Saw Alic Rivlin (Fed Vice Chair) on C-Span talking about the need to make the nation's check clearance process more efficient. I was wondering if she is aware of Checkfree.

Does anyone on this thread know the relationship between check clearing houses and Checkfree ? How would this electronic clearance would play in the future and what kind of supervision power would the Fed have on CKFR ?
