but isn't the problem that healthcare costs too much? I'd love to see what costs of the non medically trained personnel are compared to those fatcat MDs. Just a wild guess, but I bet that the place where we can cut the most "fat" is with those union workers. Replace them with people who are willing to work for a reasonable wage, computers and other automation, et voila! we are cutting healthcare costs. Or is cutting healthcare costs something that democrats don't want to do?
