Identix has a subsidiary named Fingerscan, an Australian corp. I just read Feb 3 issue of EETimes, which has an interesting article on Biometry: human-tracking systems. How about competition from retinal scanners. Pet ID chips cost $10 and can be implanted with a syringe they're so small. DOD is working on a bracelet that can be tracked via satellite. Frightening implications here.
