The CFO of AVID just reported purchasing 20,000 shares in the open market at $11.00 per share! It certainly shows conviction on his part. This is the first sizeable insider purchase in a while and hopefully will serve to stabilize the stock. With a book value of over $10 per share and cash per share of at least $4.50, I believe this stock has downside protection.
