OT, interesting, indeed. Dowd, do you know anything about her Aynness's personal life? She's not exactly one to be casting stones on this particular subject, even from beyond the grave. And the Republican Moral Right Guard doesn't seem to be thinking much about leading the country forward in a more Libertarian direction, by all indications. They'd have a different problem with her Aynness, I'd guess. You might like to check out the cover story on the Sunday NYT magazine this week, "The Scolds". I thought the "decline of Western Civilization due to Bill Clinton" crowd was lunatic fringe, turns out they're the new Republican mainstream. This isn't Barry Goldwater's Republican party, or Ronald Reagan's either. Bless their relatively kind and forgiving hearts. No cheers here.
