Spots, Seagate has already inferred they are dropping efforts to sell heads or media. IBM has been such an on again / off again supplier of heads and media that they have difficulty gaining any credibility in the business. It is just untenable to be reliant on a competitor for heads or media, which, IMHO, represent where the real rubber meets the road in disk drive design and performance. Best, Stitch
