My opinion is that we'll see 1650-1800 before we see 3500, that's for sure. The fact that stocks gain on bad news is ridiculous and though it happens, it does not make sense to me. In my book, it's a temporary trend change and that's all. There's just no logic in buying anything when bad news is coming out. Also, to me, Friday's sell-off appeared to be a combination of things..in particular, the fact the INTC had already guided lower once and then had to do it again. It's a sign that things are still getting worse and this will have an effect on most companies in the market as sales continue to screech to a halt and inventories keep piling up.
