Good point.
Although Pentium's have been around longer, and are more established throughout the world, as well as AMD's poor track record before the Athlon came out, what matters to me is performance today.
And right now, the AMD's design, sub-structure, cache levels, instruction set, etc., are better than Intel's IMO.
Two years ago, I wouldn't touch AMD, and maybe 2 years from now, I won't touch them either, but right now, I gotta stick with a winner.
