Like you - I love Joni - LOVE Blue. Global influence - not much, if any. Jimmy Buffet has had more active musical role than Joni. She is brilliant but very passive - the Madonna of self-absorption . I would remove from list nearly all in "entertainment". MAYBE Disney and the Beatles were really influential. Elvis is a temptation (no, not one of THOSE Temptations!) but basically a performer.
