I recently did some shopping around and found that the cheapest place for Apple
stuff, by a worthwhile margin, is a site called Bottom Line On Line
(http://www.blol.com/). The five items I wanted cost $2k at MacWarehouse, $1.8k at
MacZone, $1.6k at Cyberian Outpost, and $1.3k at BLOL.

If you guys want to know the best price on all Apple stuff, I highly recommend you check out deal mac at (http://www.deal-mac.com/). They have a searchable database for pricing, and they always publish the lowest price on any given item when they find it.

Also be aware that some of the Apple dealers are not "officially licensed" and thus operate in what's called the "grey market." Apple has reportedly been cracking down on supplying factory warranties to these grey market machines, so it's a good idea to ask before you buy. However, you may still get at the warranty from the grey market dealer, even if Apple doesn't honor one directly.

'Nuff about that, here's to Q2 earnings!
