I didn't really understand what you are talking about here. Could you be more specific?

I am not really as much of a pessimist as you might think I am. Sometimes I am trying to counter balance Father Terrence's utopianism, playing the devil's advocate. I have a strong belief in technology. I invest in biogenetic engineering firms and in the satellite-based communications companies of the future!!! However, I also believe that as long as the earth as seen by policy makers as something we can ruin and then escape, or at least that the rich can escape, the mindset we need to solve some of the problems we have will not be in place.

I just don't think the planet is disposable!!! Better, stronger and cleaner need to happen right here, not in space.
