You can add me to the list of GP100 owners. I mostly have shot .38s in it. Big frame with light loads, sweet.

You know why 38's fit in a .357? Way back when, the .35 cap and ball revolvers were actually .357. When they were converted to fire a cartridge the chambers of the cylinders were bored to .38 so the case could fit. The .357 is really a .38 long.

BTW, I have a Dirty Harry .44 that was a prototype, doesn't even have a model # on it. My favorite for home protection is a side by side 12ga. 3" with two triggers. Even though I have buckshot up to 000, I keep it fed with #2 steel goose loads. Don't want to remove walls.
