Paul Wolfowicz and Richard Perle also come to mind. Their visions of our soldiers being greeted with flowers was a bit off the mark. George "Slam dunk!" Tenet was another assistant who misled his boss. In reflecting on Tenet's role... isn't it amazing how often the CIA screws up? They missed the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, they missed 9/11, they screwed up on Iraqi WMD...
