Exactly. If Iran gets the bomb, then there will be nuclear blackmail. Look at what North Korea does. They sponsor terrorism, counterfeiting dollars, and menace the region with their million man army and their nukes. They blackmail us and others to give humanitarian aid, which doesn't usually reach their impoverished populace, which they routinely suppress. Iran has a hell of a lot more regional power than North Korea and their current leaders are in many ways more malevolent towards us. Plus, they are the world's largest sponsor of terrorism.

There is no way we can allow Iran to have the bomb. It will destabilize the region, cause a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, and send oil prices soaring to unprecedented levels in a record amount of time.

Although many people say that if Israel bombs Iran to destroy their nuclear capabilities, that would be a disaster, I compare it to the disaster that will happen if they aren't stopped. If they aren't stopped it will be worse and will last longer.

So while I hope Obama can do it peacefully (God knows we can't afford more war), I hope he has the balls to give Israel the green light if it comes to the need to stop Iran in its tracks.
