Anyone close to the center will eventually get that. It's always tempting to throw everyone "bad" at the other party, but it's irrational. And sometimes the "bad" folks are bad precisely because they are so out of the mainstream they don't fit with either party (no matter what the fringe dwellers may say.) And while I feel sure Steve will take my point (and yours), you can talk to the fringe 24-7, but they will never relent. If they could relent, they wouldn't be the fringe. That so reminds me of "My hat it has three corners...
