Does anyone know what the payoff to the recruiters is when they meet or exceed goal? Finally, it is amazing how the culture of this country has changed when I think of people enlisting in the service of their country today versus the Korea and Vietnam era. 1. The successful recruiters get good enlisted efficiency reports and are moved on in promotable status. The unsuccessful recruiters get their careers hammered. The pressure right now on recruiters has to be enormous. I have been reading lots of chastising messages that I'm not posting. 2. In Korea and Nam we had the draft to take up the enlistment slack. Both wars experienced a similar sharp reduction in voluntary enlistees in their third year.
