You know that I am not an old timer at TA. I only discovered TA because of your thread at beginners somewhere around Christmas 96. I'm not trying to hold myself up as anything other than what I am. I like playing with the numbers because it's fun for me. So far it has had very little to do with actual trading. If I sound like I think I'm some kind of bigshot I don't mean too, I'm not. I'm just a guy trying to learn and enjoy myself at the same time. There are several here and on "beginners" whose experience and advice I believe in and value greatly. You are one of them.

It's probably the medium but when you use the phrase "still stuck on wma's in my kindergarden TA class" I feel like I've insulted you. You are probably the nicest guy on the threads as far as I can tell. I can remember only one post where you seemed really po'd and it was when that guy (initials CC I think) called Richard a name on another thread. Sticking up for a friend is straight aces in my book.

I do have a system that I trust and fall back on. Believe me it's pretty basic. I've defined it before. Dahl, 50 day sma, 200 day sma, S/R(trend, flat, & channels), Gann if appropriate. I don't talk about it much because it's not really testable and I don't want to show all my frailties to the world.

I'm in TA kindergarden. YOU ARE NOT.

Not sure how you feel about consumption but maybe we'll be able to toast my graduation to the 1st grade in NJ.
