Hillary Will Eat Obama for Breakfast

Obama is a nice guy. He's too nice. On February 6 we will watch Hillary emerge as the Democratic candidate with Obama probably whimpering along through March. All the Dems will wonder how did it happened? He's the guy with the ideas! He's the one who has people cheering and crying when he speaks! He's BLACK! (By the way, why have we decided he's black when he was raised by his white mother? Just asking.) Obama will lose the nomination because politics is a dirty game and Hillary knows how to play. Obama is still learning the rules. Take his Reagan comments for instance. Novice. Thoughtful and honest but a political maneuver that again revealed Obama's political naivete. It was destined to be misunderstood and Obama should have known better. He was trying to get voters and more importantly, his party, to think that he would be for the Democrats what Reagan was for the Republicans--the positive communicator that could make Americans believe in America again. It probably went over most voters heads, but not Hillary's (or Edwards's, remember him?) who committed herself to twisting his words from the moment they came out of his mouth. He should also have known better than to admit an actual weakness at a debate, but he didn't. Political campaigns are about the sound bite and anything deeper can and will be twisted and used against you until you are crushed. Hillary will eat Obama for breakfast.
