Joe, expectedYou must have enjoyed the Anthony Weiner fiasco. I actually believed the guy at first. I thought someone in his office played a prank on him. Saturday night live couldn't have written a funnier skit.

I just find it interesting as now many individuals in 'power" positions forget that it is the position that has the power rather than they, the person. I have seen on many occasions where individuals acquire power, or leadership position and for some reason believe that the rules which they or other power figures have put into place do not apply to them. Then, when they are held to those standards and perhaps ridiculed in front of the media they blow their cool. It is hard to control to your cool when threatened in the public media. It is just natural to strike out against those attacking especially if it is the public view. Senator John Edwards, President Bill Clinton, and numerous other have gotten caught. They would have come out better if they would have plead "mae culpa." You perhaps remember me saying, "in organizing, the purpose of an action is to cause and over-reaction of the opposition."

I have thought about writing a book regarding the life of an organizer and their actions. The title would be, "Guilt with Association." But, I would not want my kids and grandkids to see what was done to Win even it did not result in "physical violence." It appears from reading the responses of some individuals on this site that there are certain types of expected
behavior from union or community organizers. Some of these perceptions and expectation may be true while others are false. Most generally, "The ends Justifies the Means," is correct in accomplishing the objectives of the whole!
