Haqi...Agree with you on many points....But... Fox should be made to be aware of the anger of many of the American people --the taxpayers who are funding him, and his lack of concern for his own Mexican citizens.
Americans are the most generous people on earth. Period.
The problem IMO is that people, so called "leaders" like Fox take advantage of this.
What everyone, INCLUDING our own leaders, is that we either pay attention to the law, or we don't. SIMPLE. If we, as a citizenry, think that we want total open borders, open to anyone who wants to come here, no matter if their intent is peaceful or not, then we should have no laws against ILLEGAL immigration.
If we, as a citizenry, think that we should obey our OWN CURRENT laws, then we should have an active policy to keep people who are entering ILLEGALLY out.
Fox is using America, and the people who pay America's Federal Taxes, to prop up his failed economic policies.
I keep hearing "these people are doing jobs Americans won't." WELL, I think that is wrong. How many Americans are currently collecting welfare? Do they work or do anything to receive those funds??? Has our government ever told us how many of these people there are? Or what they do for the money? My guess is that if people want to eat, have shelter, and clothing, they WILL work for it.
I believe it would be cheaper to bus, or even fly our American citizens into areas, set up temp housing for them, to do the jobs that are entry or low pay, than to pay ILLEGALS to do these jobs, plus pay for their families food, housing, medical costs, etc etc etc etc etc....
IMO, the REAL problem is that America, has a declining birthrate, and therefore has fewer citizens to do many of the jobs we need done.
Therefore, we should change our immigration laws, and allow people to come here LEGALLY, after we have checked out their background throughly. |
