"I agree with you that Obama inherited a financial mess." I didn't say he inherited a financial mess. I said; ' Obama claims he inherited a mess". Big deal it comes with the job, Reagan, Clinton and to some degree G W Bush all inherited economies that had problems. Regarding whether he should grow up and take responsibility - no president takes responsibility, it is all about WINNING!!! Great presidents do. Reagan's reelection theme was "Are you better off than you were four years ago". The republicans should show that clip in next years election.
