IMO Robert Mueller did a "Two Step" with that pathetic "Public Statement" ....
1) He did his best to appease his DemoCrap Swamp "affiliates" by making that delusional comment that "his investigation didn't clear Trump of wrongdoing", BUT that "he couldn't reach a conclusion as to whether Trump obstructed Justice" !!! And as we saw, within SECONDS OF HIM SAYING THAT, each and every DemoCrap "swamp creature" jumped onto that IMPEACHMENT BANDWAGON !! WHY ???? ..... Because THEY WERE ALL IN ON THIS "PREPARED STATEMENT" and they are ALL RUNNING SCARED OF BILL 'BULLDOG' BARR who is now rolling up his sleeves and getting down to some SERIOUS UNCOVERING WORK ------>

Dan Bongino has clearly laid out the FACTS, on numerous occasions, about the ORIGINS of this Mueller "investigation", what it was based on, and why it was carried out AFTER THE INCEPTION OF THAT "STEEL DOSSIER", which was ORIGINALLY CREATED, EVEN BEFORE TRUMP CAME ON THE SCENE, to get Mike Flynn, Defence Intelligence Director in Obama's time, who had stated PUBLICLY THAT HE WAS AGAINST OBAMA'S IRAN DEAL.
The Narrative of that Steele Dossier, and its original "authors", were then carried through and used by the likes of Comey and Brennan to target Trump, and which eventually largely became the basis on which Mueller started his "Investigation".
There's no doubt that Mueller knew, from the get-go, that the dossier was CRAP. In fact his SLIME BALL assistant, Andrew Weissmann, knew it was CRAP and no doubt informed Mueller. BUT the "investigation" had to be carried out because it was all about "GETTING TRUMP" and pursuing HIS IMPEACHMENT BY THE DEMOCRAPS, PLUS DOING WHATEVER THOSE DEMENTED IDIOTS COULD DO TO NEGATIVELY AFFECT TRUMP'S 2020 CAMPAIGN. At the end of the day Mueller was the LACKEY of those Demented Idiots and did their bidding, as long as Rosenstein was around to cover his a**se.
BUT .... When Bill 'Bulldog' Barr entered the scene the whole situation changed dramatically. Because Barr knows "BASELESS CRAP" when he sees it. And he will keep digging, and digging until he finds out EXACTLY WHAT WENT ON, WHO DID WHAT, AND WHY.
AND THAT IS PRIMARILY WHY Mueller doesn't want to testify in front of Congress because there are VERY WELL INFORMED individuals there who will TEAR HIS "INVESTIGATION" APART AND EXPOSE HIM FOR THE CHARLATAN THAT HE IS, and he could very well end up at the end of that "ROPE" that you referred to !!!
AND THAT IS, ALSO, PRIMARILY WHY the Demented DemoCrap "Swamp Creatures" are doing ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THEY CAN to attack Barr AND TO KEEP HIM FROM DOING HIS JOB because they also see that "ROPE" looming ahead for many of them and their Co-Conspirators !!!
