Data Integrity
or
World view

There is a distinct difference in how the digital self and the real self build a a view of the worlds. The differences center on how we hold ideas of value, which is what this discussion centers on. To elevate an idea you require a supporting structure. In the real world we aggregate to create community and this elevates many ideas, even those which have no merit but are included as part of the cultural package.
Without the cultural or physical backdrop, the digital self has much more discretion in what thoughts are included as part of the information unit and the process of building a world view becomes much more difficult. If you wish to elevate an idea you must provide the support which is normally part of the fabric, you cannot count on aggregation. The details that complete the bounding of an idea are difficult to mimic digitally.

An idea can fall completely down if even one supporting meme is damaged by a lack of data integrity.
