Assuming Mckinley first silicon arrives at the end of Q3 2001, what would be the minimum time to a launch? McKinley is rumored to tape out in Nov. If true, they will have first silicon some time in Dec. It should take about a year for design and system verification and testing. That would indicate a launch late 2001 which is what Intel has been claiming all along. Sounds reasonable. From experience, I have quite a bit of faith in the H.P. design team. THE WATSONYOUTH
