Why open source may be doomed

The SCO campaign against Linux is a mediocre attempt to gain publicity. Today SGI (which has a Unix System V license with source code access right) reported that maybe about 200 lines in Linux kernel 2.4.21 (of millions of source code lines) are derived from earlier Unix code. But they had already been declared public domain, additionally they aren't contained in kernel 2.4.22 any more.
