I have been to Cuba. And I can tell you this. The American People are mostly ignorant about the place. It is almost completely dysfunctional and poor as a church mouse. We could conquer the country with a fleet of trucks full of good food. Castro holds onto power with his police who are an evil bunch sometimes, but they are no threat whatsoever to US tourists.

When I saw a rightwing article lately claiming Castro was arming himself against the US, I had to laugh. Castro has no money. He cannot arm himself against anything but an uprising of his own people.
