Joe, <It seems that the prices are higher than what we can see on Pricewatch. Does anybody have an explanation?> The prices in AMD's press release are the "official ones" for OEMs and have historically been higher than what are on PW and also are likely higher than what OEMs actually pay. This was what I learned when I asked a similar question here months back. So, the prices need to be compared to the last "official prices" and I don't have any notes on recent values (AMD's press release from mid-March had $1,299 for 1G, $999 for 950, and $899 for 900) but I seem to remember a reduction in April on all but the 1G.
