Kerry got 84% of the vote of people who wanted to beat Bush as their #1 issue. That flies in the face of claims Edwards would be tougher against Bush. Edwards is a fine #2 man but has no military-foreign affairs gravitas of expertise. Because Bush's #1 issue was going to be military leadership, it's obvious that the man who can take that issue away from GW is the best candidate. That man is Kerry. He can take Bush look like a military midget despite Bush's huge obsession with war during the last two years.
