I'm well aware of the benchmarking trap. OTOH, I thought it was most interesting because the "benchmark suite" (whatever that was) came from INTEL...not 3rd parties who don't know what benchmarks Intel will use or whether or not their chip was a dumbed down P4 or not.
Lot's of P4 benchmarks have found their way to the web but these were like not final release silicon. Not that Intel couldn't still be sandbagging.
