I served those things to my boys once a few months ago in a burst of maternal concern. The pseudoburgs were greeted with suspicious stares and an onslaught of ketchup. After the first bite, amid expressions of undisguised horror and disbelief, and much retching and gagging, a sound boys seem to perfect early on, we adjourned and headed for McDonald's.
