"The economy must be driving Krugman nuts" I just said that on a post on another thread a minute or two ago. Krugman is one of those guys whose makeup doesnt allow him to be wrong. The wronger he gets the louder he screams. The structural problems he talks about might bite our asses one day but for a guy who considers Social security not an immediate problem it amazes me to watch him literally go insane or worst yet inane as he once again is WRONG. My son, son in law and my boss(who is a genius) all have spouted his nonsense. All are recanting as they understand what i learned years ago about the US economy--it is not like any other because without our consumer the world economy dies. This will change some day but no one will allow it to do so now. I told my son to save the krugman articles and pull them out in 20 years when what he is now saying may have some relevance. mike
