Actually the ML ratings are a little better on INTC than the ones you mentioned. PCLN has a D319 (near term neutral-long-term buy; IVIL D229 (near term accum, long term accum) and IPET carries a D229 (near term accum, long term accum). INTC has a B227 ("7" means dividend is paid)

The "D" is the risk rating which is "high"

The risk rating on INTC is "B" is "average"

So, since Osha released his ratings before MSFT released their report, I think he will change his downgrade fairly soon IMHO. I personally feel that the prospects are good if MSFT reports that their prospects for Windows 2000 are favorable for 2001.

I do expect to see some backing and filling next week for INTC and the other tech stocks unless there is some positive news on "oil", mid-East crisis, earnings of technology related companies.

I look for "blockbuster" earnings to come Monday from KEM if my speculation is right that they mirror AVX's results.

Business in technology is really "hot". I don't understand Joe Osha's reasoning. I do believe he is making an honest call, but I believe that he is wrong on INTC

This stock should not trade this low. Momentum will build IMO due to the great deal of "cash" sitting on the sidelines waiting to jump in to a tech "bellweather" stock like INTC.

Good luck!
