62% Of Republicans Support How Migrants Are Being Treated Inside Trump’s Camps

[ Trump people are followers. The tone is set at the top and they'll sink to the Maximum Leaders moral level. If he rapes women, they'll think up excuses for it. If he's cruel to children, they'll make excuses for that too. No matter what he does, they'll excuse it. ]

93% of Democrats disapprove of the way migrants are being treated at the border and 60% of Independents agree.

According to CNN, a CNN poll conducted by SSRS found that 74% of Americans say that there is a crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. In January, only 45% of people felt this way.

The increase comes mostly from Democrats. Only 23% of Democrats saw the situation at the wall as a crisis in January. Now 70% of Democrats believe it is a crisis. Similarly, in January 47% of Independents believed the situation was a crisis and now 72% believe so. Amongst Republicans, 82% now think that it is a crisis, up 11 points from January.

Although there is widespread agreement that there is a crisis, Democrats and Republicans disagree on why there is a crisis. 54% of Democrats say that it is a crisis because of the way migrants are treated as they try to cross the border. 63% of Republicans say there is a crisis because of the number of migrants trying to enter the country.

93% of Democrats disapprove of the way migrants are being treated at the border and 60% of Independents feel the same. 62% of Republicans, though, approve of how migrants are being treated inside Trump’s camps.

On a more positive note, 80% of people overall, including 96% of Democrats, 81% of Independents, and 63% of Republicans think that the government’s first priority in immigration should be to make a plan to allow some illegal immigrants to become legal residents.
